Final Learning Blog and Presentation Criteria

The Final Learning Blog and Presentation (30 pnts total)

The Learning Blog:

·        This is the only one for this unit, so take that into consideration

·        This pulls together your learning about writing, etc. that has taken place this semester in English 101

·        It will probably contain those  big “takeaways” from this class (or those major points of learning)

·        It should be quite a bit longer (for some of you…)

·        It should discuss your learning not only throughout this last unit, but also through the entire semester

·        … And should still give specific examples of the demonstration of your learning

·        It would be helpful to use both examples from your written work and quotations from your previous blogs, as well

The Presentation:

·        This is really simple!

·        It will only be about 5 minutes (and I’ll probably stop you if it goes over).

·        Essentially: You are presenting your final blog (or, more specifically, your learning throughout this class) to the rest of us.

·        It’s an opportunity to share your thoughts with the class.

·        It will be multimodal: You’ll be talking to the class and use the overhead to pull up either your own personal blog or use powerpoint to create slides reflective of what you are saying (which could just be example quotations pulled from your learning blog anyways).
