Peer Review Design: Wednesday, March 28 for Research Findings Report

In groups, what you decide to discuss is up to you. However, you’ll want to pay particular attention to the results and discussion sections as these represent new material essentially. Some other things you can focus on include:

·         What about the research findings report is unclear to you?

·         What do they need to be more specific/expand on?

·         Do they specifically address the research questions effectively?

Your report will be reviewed by two other people in your group, for a total of six people/research findings report.

Format:

1.     One-two minutes each: Each person in the group will tell about their results/discussion sections and the questions/problems he/she may want other group members to focus on.

2.    5 minutes (in first pairs): Written feedback

3.    5 minutes (in first pairs): Oral feedback

4.    5 minutes (in second pairs): Written feedback

5.    5 minutes (in second pairs): Oral feedback

6.    Rest of class: Come back to together with your research groups and discuss the feedback, etc.
